Overview
Org Chart Pro reads your organizational structure live from Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and renders it as a modern, interactive org chart on any SharePoint page. No hand-maintained Excel lists, no stale PowerPoint slides — the chart is always as current as your directory.
Profile cards with photos, Teams presence and color-coded departments make the organization readable at a glance. Search jumps straight to anyone and highlights their reporting line to the top; one click opens a profile with contact details, team, assistants and dotted-line managers — Teams chat and call included.
The webpart ships as a .sppkg package for your app catalog and is configured entirely through webpart properties: root person or automatic detection, exclusion rules, design, card style, height and visible fields — no code, no external servers. Colors come from your SharePoint theme, light and dark.

FAQ
Does the webpart need extra permissions?
Yes, the Graph permission User.Read.All, approved once by an administrator under "API access" in the SharePoint admin center. Presence.Read.All is optional: without it everything works, only the Teams status is hidden. A step-by-step guide is included.
Does it work inside Microsoft Teams?
The package is prepared for Teams tabs and personal apps — same license, no extra cost. SharePoint pages are its primary home.
What happens when the directory structure changes?
Nothing — the chart reads live from Microsoft Graph on every load. There is no sync job and nothing to maintain. The Refresh button loads fresh data at any time.
Will it match our intranet design?
Yes. Every surface and accent comes from your SharePoint theme, in light and dark sections. Three designs (Theme, Soft, Compact), two card styles and an optional custom accent color are available; department colors can be switched off.
Do our settings survive the update to 4.0?
Yes. The update rolls out tenant-wide by version number; every saved webpart setting is kept. New options start with the modern look and can be adjusted in the property pane.
