NewThe lunch menu on your SharePoint home page: this week and today, with vegetarian, vegan, allergens and price — from a list, no Power Automate.
Canteen Menu puts lunch where the intranet already starts: the SharePoint home page. The week is a set of columns, today is marked, and a Today view groups soup, main, side and dessert. Vegetarian and vegan are labeled in words, allergens show as codes with a legend, and price and location appear only when they are filled in. Several canteens become filter chips as soon as the list contains more than one location.
The data lives in an ordinary list on the current site. One row is one dish on one day. Date, name, description, location, price, course, diet and allergens can be mapped to existing columns in the property pane. The “CanteenMenu” list is created with one click when those columns are missing. The kitchen maintains the plan in SharePoint, not in a second tool and not in a Power Automate flow.
There is no external menu API, no Microsoft Graph permission and no telemetry. It reads only SharePoint REST under the signed-in person's permissions. The date in the list the web part creates is a plain day, so the weekday does not shift across time zones. Canteen Menu is developed and published by Lyron.

No. The plan is maintained in a SharePoint list on the site and read by the web part. There is no flow, no external interface and no extra licence.
In a list on the site that hosts the web part. The suggested title is “CanteenMenu”. One row is one dish on one day: date, name, description, location, price, course, diet and allergens. You can map the column names if the list already uses different ones.
The diet column may contain vegan, vegetarian or a plain yes. Allergens may be the EU letters (A gluten, G milk, M mustard) or the written names in German or English. The legend under the menu explains the codes that appear in the week on screen.
Yes. Location is its own column. When the week contains more than one location, filter chips appear. Price and location can be hidden if you do not maintain them.
People with contribute rights on the list, usually the kitchen or the editors. Everyone with read access sees the menu. The web part itself does not write dishes.
No. It uses only SharePoint REST under the signed-in person's permissions. No API approval, no external service, no telemetry.
